Article 1

Linz und Vilnius werden nach Artikel 2 Absatz 1 des Beschlusses Nr. 1419/1999/EG zu „Kulturhauptstädten Europas 2009“ erklärt.

Article 2

Die beiden Städte treffen alle erforderlichen Maßnahmen, um die wirksame Durchführung der Artikel 1 und 5 des Beschlusses Nr. 1419/1999/EG zu gewährleisten.
