Article 1

The position to be taken on behalf of the Union within the International Tropical Timber Council shall be to give consent or vote in favour of extending the International Tropical Timber Agreemement 2006 for an initial period of five years.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.
