Council Decision (CFSP) 2022/635 of 13 April 2022 amending Decision (CFSP) 2017/1869 on the European Union Advisory Mission in support of Security Sector Reform in Iraq (EUAM Iraq)

The strategic objectives of EUAM Iraq shall be: (1) to provide strategic advice and expertise to the Iraqi authorities on the civilian aspects of the Security Sector Reforms, including the National Security Strategy, associated national strategies and other national security priorities; (2) to analyse, assess and identify opportunities for further Union engagement at national, regional and provincial levels in support of the needs of the civilian Security Sector Reform; (3) together with the Union Delegation, to inform and facilitate the Union’s and Member States’ planning and implementation support in the field of civilian Security Sector Reform, ensuring coherence of Union action.’;

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
