Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/1247 of 29 April 2024 amending Decision (CFSP) 2017/1869 on the European Union Advisory Mission in support of Security Sector Reform in Iraq (EUAM Iraq)

The strategic objectives of EUAM Iraq shall be: (1) to contribute to the civilian aspects of Security Sector Reform in Iraq, including the National Security Strategy, associated national strategies and other national security priorities, through strategic advice and assistance; (2) to ensure the coherence of Union action in support of efforts to meet the needs of civilian Security Sector Reform by identifying, analysing and assessing further opportunities at national, regional and provincial levels and, together with the Union Delegation, informing and facilitating the Union’s and Member States’ support.’;

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
