Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2720 of 24 October 2024 making imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or steel originating in the People’s Republic of China subject to registration

1 The customs authorities are hereby directed, under Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036, to take the appropriate steps to register imports into the Union of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or steel, including precision tubes, of circular cross-section, of an external diameter not exceeding 406,4 mm with a Carbon Equivalent Value (CEV) not exceeding 0,86 according to the International Institute of Welding (IIW) formula and chemical analysis, currently classified under CN codes ex73041910, ex73041930, ex73042300, ex73042910, ex73042930, ex73043120, ex73043180, ex73043950, ex73043982, ex73043983, ex73045189, ex73045982 and ex73045983 (TARIC codes: 7304191020, 7304193020, 7304230020, 7304291020, 7304293020, 7304312030, 7304318030, 7304395030, 7304398230, 7304398320, 7304518930, 7304598230 and 7304598320), and originating in the People’s Republic of China.

2 Registration shall expire nine months following the date of entry into force of this Regulation.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
