Article 1

The expiry date of the approval of 4,5-Dichloro-2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one for use in biocidal products of product-type 8 set out in Annex I to Directive 98/8/EC is postponed to 30 June 2028.

Article 2

The expiry date of the approval of 4,5-Dichloro-2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one for use in biocidal products of product-type 21 set out in the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 437/2014 is postponed to 30 June 2028.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
