Article 1

The Protocol for the protection of the Mediterranean Sea against pollution from land-based sources is hereby approved on behalf of the European Economic Community. The text of the Protocol is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council shall deposit the Acts as provided for in Article 16 (4) of the Protocol referred to in Article 1 hereof.
