Article 1

The sampling requirements referred to in Article 9, paragraph (b) of Directive 83/417/EEC shall be those outlined in the Annex to the present Directive.

Article 2

Member States shall take all necessary measures in order to comply with the present Directive by 15 January 1988 at the latest. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof.

Article 3

This Directive is addressed to all the Member States.
