Council Act of 26 July 1995 drawing up the Convention based on Article K.3 of the Treaty on European Union, on the establishment of a European Police Office (Europol Convention) (95/C 316/01) THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article K.3 (2) (c) and Article K.1 (9) therof, Whereas for the purposes of achieving the objectives of the Union the Member States regard the establishment of a European Police Office as a matter of common interest; Has decided on the drawing up of the Convention, the text of which is annexed, which has been signed today by the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States of the Union;
