Article 1

Imports into the Community of prepared and preserved sardines of CN codes 16041311, 16041319 and ex16042050 originating in Morocco shall be exempt from customs duties.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. It shall apply from 1 January 1999 until the entry into force of the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement with Morocco.
