2006/39/EC: Council Decision of 23 January 2006 on the approval of exceptional national aid by the Republic of Cyprus to Cypriot farmers for the purpose of repaying part of agricultural debts created long before accession of Cyprus to the European Union

National aid granted by the Republic of Cyprus for CYP 23000000 (equivalent to EUR 39330000) to enable Cypriot farmers to repay to Banks and other financial institutions part of their agricultural debts, which were created before 31 December 1998 due to the exceptional circumstances that prevailed before and up to that date, shall be considered compatible with the common market.

This Decision is addressed to the Republic of Cyprus.
