Article 1

The State aid which Germany is planning to implement for Volkswerft Stralsund amounting to EUR 4200500 is compatible with the common market within the meaning of Article 87(3)(c) of the EC Treaty. Implementation of the aid amounting to EUR 4200500 is accordingly authorised.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the Federal Republic of Germany.
