Article 1

Directive 2004/17/EC shall not apply to contracts awarded by contracting entities and intended to enable the following services to be carried out in the Netherlands: a) exploration for oil and natural gas; b) production of oil; and c) production of natural gas.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
