Article 1

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to sign on behalf of the European Community, the Statute of the International Renewable Energy Agency founded on 26 January 2009 in Bonn.

Article 2

By virtue of its signature, the Community will be represented in the Preparatory Commission of IRENA set up by the Conference on the establishment of IRENA.
