Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 78/2014 of 22 November 2013 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the provision of food information to consumers, as regards certain cereals causing allergies or intolerances and foods with added phytosterols, phytosterol esters, phytostanols or phytostanol esters

The introductory sentence in point 1 of Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 is replaced by the following: ‘1. Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats or their hybridised strains, and products thereof, except:’

In the second column of point 5.1 of Annex III to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, point (3) is replaced by the following: ‘(3) a statement that the product is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol level;’

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
