Article 1

By way of derogation from Annex XII to Regulation (EC) No 850/98, the minimum size for sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) in Region 2, as defined in Article 2 of that Regulation, shall be 42 cm.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It shall take effect on 1 September 2015. Before the end of 2017 the Commission shall assess whether the measures introduced by this Regulation are still necessary.
