Article 1

Die Produktgruppe, deren bestimmungsgemäße Hauptwirkung, die auf Proanthocyanidinen (PAC) aus Cranberry-Extrakt (Vaccinium macrocarpon) beruht, die Prävention und Behandlung von Zystitis ist, fällt nicht unter die in Artikel 1 Absatz 2 Buchstabe a der Richtlinie 93/42/EWG festgelegte Begriffsbestimmung für Medizinprodukte.

Article 2

Dieser Beschluss ist an die Mitgliedstaaten gerichtet.
