Council Decision (EU) 2018/61 of 21 March 2017 on the signing, on behalf of the European Union, and provisional application of an amendment to the Agreement between the United States of America and the European Community on cooperation in the regulation of civil aviation safety

The signing, on behalf of the Union, of Amendment 1 to the Agreement between the United States of America and the European Community on cooperation in the regulation of civil aviation safety is hereby authorised, subject to the conclusion of the said Amendment. The text of Amendment 1 is attached to this Decision.

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to sign Amendment 1 on behalf of the Union.

Amendment 1 shall be applied on a provisional basis, in accordance with Article 2 thereof, as from the date of signature thereof, pending the completion of the procedures necessary for its entry into force.

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
