Council Decision (EU) 2024/364 of 16 January 2024 on the position to be taken on behalf of the European Union in the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission and repealing Decision (EU) 2019/1563

The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf in the sessions of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC) is set out in Annex I.

The year-to-year specification of the Union’s position to be taken in the sessions of the WECAFC shall be conducted in accordance with Annex II.

The Union’s position set out in Annex I shall be assessed and, where appropriate, revised by the Council upon a proposal from the Commission, at the latest before the annual session of the WECAFC in 2029.

Decision (EU) 2019/1563 is hereby repealed.

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
