Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/1450 of 15 July 2025 extending the mandate of the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia and amending Decision (CFSP) 2024/2080

Ms Magdalena GRONO is hereby appointed as the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025. The mandate of Ms Magdalena GRONO as the EUSR for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia is extended until 31 August 2027. The Council may decide that the mandate of the EUSR be terminated earlier, based on an assessment by the Political and Security Committee (PSC) and a proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (HR).’

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
