Article 1

The Convention on cooperation for the protection and sustainable use of the river Danube is hereby approved on behalf of the Community. The text of the Convention is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council is hereby authorized to designate the person or persons empowered to deposit the instrument of approval with the Romanian Government, in accordance with Article 26 of the Convention.
