Article 1

The State aid amounting to EUR 108752 which Italy is planning to implement in order to help cope with the difficulties facing the cultivation of peaches in the region of Piedmont is incompatible with the common market. The aid in question cannot therefore be implemented.

Article 2

Italy will inform the Commission, within two months of the date of notification of this decision, of the measures that have been taken to comply with it.

Article 3

This Decision is addressed to the Italian Republic.
