Article 1

The three-year delivery limit laid down in Article 3(2) of Council Regulation No 1540/98 cannot be extended for ship 6079 built by Fincantieri. The contract-related operating aid for the ship may accordingly not be implemented.

Article 2

Italy shall inform the Commission, within two months of notification of this Decision, of the measures taken to comply with it.

Article 3

This Decision is addressed to the Italian Republic.
