Council Decision (EU) 2019/2025 of 18 November 2019 on the signing, on behalf of the European Union, and the provisional application of the Protocol to amend the International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas

The signing, on behalf of the Union, of the Protocol to amend the International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (‘the Protocol’) is hereby authorised, subject to the conclusion of the said Protocol. The text of the Protocol is attached to this Decision.

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person(s) empowered to sign the Protocol on behalf of the Union.

The Protocol shall be applied on a provisional basis as from its entry into force in accordance with Article 13 of the Protocol, and under the conditions set out therein, pending the completion of the procedures necessary for its entry into force for the Union.

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
