Commission Decision of 13 May 2024 approving, on behalf of the European Union, the amendment to Annex II to the Agreement between the European Union and Iceland on the protection of geographical indication for agricultural products and foodstuffs

The amendments to Annex II to the Agreement between the European Union and Iceland on the protection of geographical indication for agricultural products and foodstuffs as set out in the draft Decision of the Joint Committee, are hereby approved on behalf the European Union. The draft Decision of the Joint Committee is set out in the Annex to this Decision.

The representative of the European Union in the Joint Committee is authorised to approve the adoption of the Decision of that Joint Committee on behalf of the European Union.

This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The Decision of the Joint Committee shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union after its adoption by the Joint Committee.

Annex II to the Agreement between the European Union and Iceland on the protection of geographical indication for agricultural products and foodstuffs is replaced by the text in the Annex to this Decision.

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
