Commission Decision (EU) 2024/2057 of 28 February 2023 on the State aid SA.48556 (2019/C) (ex 2018/N) – Hungary – LIP – Regional investment aid to Samsung SDI (notified under document C(2023) 1478)

The State aid which Hungary is planning to implement in favour of Samsung SDI Magyarország Zrt, amounting to EUR 108 million (in present values), is compatible with the internal market up to an aid amount of EUR 89,6 million (in present values) within the meaning of Article 107(3), point (c), of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and is incompatible with the internal market for the remaining amount. Implementation of the aid is accordingly authorised up to EUR 89,6 million (in present values). The remaining amount of the planned aid shall not be implemented.

Hungary shall inform the Commission, within two months of notification of this Decision, of the measures taken to comply with it.

This Decision is addressed to Hungary.
