Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1899 of 4 July 2024 granting protection in the Union to the Appellation of Origin تين دجبة / Figues de Djebba registered in the International Register of Appellations of Origin and Geographical Indications of the Geneva Act

The name ‘تين دجبة / Figues de Djebba’, registered as Appellation of Origin in the International Register, shall be protected in the Union. The name referred to in the first paragraph identifies a product of the type ‘fruit’.

The protection referred to in Article 1 applies to the entire territory of the European Union and supersedes the national regime of protection applicable in the Member States which are party of the Lisbon Agreement. Continuity with the national protection granted in those Member States to Appellation of Origin ‘تين دجبة / Figues de Djebba’ shall be guaranteed.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
