Article 1

The Agreement for commercial, economic and development cooperation between the European Economic Community and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is hereby approved on behalf of the Community. The text of the Agreement is attached to this Regulation.

Article 2

The President of the Council shall give the notification provided for in Article 10 of the Agreement .

Article 3

The Community shall be represented on the Joint Commission provided for in Article 8 of the Agreement by the Commission, assisted by representatives of the Member States.

Article 4

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
