Council Regulation (EU) 2019/1333 of 25 June 2019 on the allocation of fishing opportunities under the Protocol on the implementation of the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of The Gambia

The fishing opportunities established under the Protocol on the implementation of the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of The Gambia shall be allocated among the Member States as follows: (a) tuna seiners: Spain16 vesselsFrance12 vessels (b) pole-and-line vessels: Spain8 vesselsFrance2 vessel (c) deep-water demersal trawlers: Member Statemaximum number of deep-water demersal trawlers active at any given momentNumber of quarterly fishing authorisations per yearTonnes of target species as defined in Appendix 2b to the Annex to the ProtocolSpain310625Greece2 (in two different quarters)125

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It shall apply from 31 July 2019.
