Council Decision (EU) 2024/2869 of 5 November 2024 on the position to be taken on behalf of the European Union within the Specialised Committee on Energy established by the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, of the one part, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, of the other part, on the establishment of the Working Group on Security of Supply

The position to be taken on behalf of the Union within the Specialised Committee on Energy, established by Article 8(1), point (l), of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, of the one part, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, of the other part, is set out in the draft Decision of the Specialised Committee on Energy attached to this Decision.

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.

1 The Working Group on Security of Supply is hereby established.

2 It shall set its rules of procedure at its first meeting.

1 The Working Group shall meet when so decided by the co-chairs, by mutual consent.

2 It shall report on a regular basis to the Specialised Committee on Energy on the results and conclusions of its meetings.

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
